The Best Language Course In Lithuania

Will you be spending sometime in Lithuania? Are you considering taking a Lithuanian Language course? Look no further than Lingua Lituanica.

Is Lingua Lituanica the best Lithuanian Language School? We think it must be. We took an intensive course in Lithuanian there in Summer 2008 and Lingua Lituanica exceeded our expectations. We both speak several languages and have had many, many language classes, both good and bad. Lingua Lituanica is one of the most professional language classes either of have attended. Was it difficult? Yes. Did we learn a lot? Definitely. Would we do it again? Absolutely.

Our teacher was Irene, the director of the school. Irene has a gift for being able to teach a difficult subject and making it fun. She encourages, she motivates and she never makes you feel bad no matter how completely you destroy her language.

The best part is Lingua Lituanica mixes the language instruction with a unique cultural experience. We worked hard during the morning hours. But during the afternoons and weekends, we took field trips to places like Kaunas, Trakai and KernavÄ—. We visited several important museums, took city tours, enjoyed Lithuanian delicacies and even learned some Lithuanian songs. The short intensive course was a rich experience, not only in the language but as an introduction to life in Lithuania.

Were we fluent in Lithuanian when we finished the course? Of course not. But in a short period of time, Lithuanian language went from being a mystery to being somewhat understandable.

There are several teachers at Lingua Lituanica, and while they all seemed nice, we really only had experience with Irene. The others are probably also very good. But if it is your first experience with the Lithuanian Language, go to Lingua Lituanica and study with Irene. You will not be disappointed.
